Be Happy Dont Worry.

I noticed that in my office, some stuffs are very busy or pretent to be busy with their work.
There are some that are so free that they do not know what to do.
Why is there so much a difference in everyday life.
Like the title says.....Be Happy Dont Worry....
You believe it?
Is it a state of mind or mind control or just simple mindsets of each person?

Why does the boss not reshuffle all the stuffs so that work is distributed equally and keeps all stuffs busy.
Then it comes a time when workers cannot do their best in certain types of work functions.
Then why is the boss always want to keep staff down?
Is it company budget not to over spent?
Is the boss a miser?
Let's hear what my boss says about this.....

KEEP STAFFS DOWN.
Beware of increasing staff unless it is absolutely a necessity. It wastes money. It wastes time and it results in work being badly done. So when additional staff is being asked for, your first reaction must be "NO". More often than not, if extra staff is not given, a simpler way will be found to do the job or people will realise that the additional work will not be necessary.

Increase of staffs has many unfortunate results. When a post is created, you may then have to have a secretary, an office boy, an assistant, a clerk, a typist and so on..Experience has always proved the truth of Parkinson's Law that work expands to fill the time available and that office stuff will multiply irrespective of the work if any to be done. And the additional people are not idle either for they may work for one another. Where formally, one person might have written a letter, now that same letter may go through five hands. Watch out for staff proliferation. It is the same with office space. If you have any space available, as sure as can be it will soon be filled quite apart from the fact whether there is work or not. If there is no work, people will make work just to fill up the space. Lack of space can be a great incentive to reducing work and forcing people to use their brains and ingenuity.
